Place du Mac is a French online shop and repair workshop in Paris, specialising in Mac spare parts.

How do I find the right part for my Mac?
All you need is your Mac's Apple model number; then filter the parts by that model:
- Find the Apple model number engraved on the underside of your Mac: the letter A followed by four digits (for example A2338).
- Choose the family, then the model, in the selector at the top of this page: only compatible parts are shown.
- Check the compatibility table on the product page (model numbers and years).

Every part comes in several conditions, all tested and fully functional; only the appearance differs:
- New: a part that has never been used.
- Refurbished to like-new condition: an appearance equivalent to new.
- Grade A: as close to new as possible, with barely visible micro-marks.
- Grade B: good condition, light micro-scratches from use that do not affect operation.
- Grade C: visible signs of use, at the lowest price.
How do I get my Mac repaired in Paris?
Drop your Mac off at our workshop, no appointment needed.
- Where: Paris 9th.
- When: Monday to Friday, 10 am–1 pm and 2 pm–6 pm.
- Diagnosis: free, with a quote before any work begins.
- Repairs: screens, batteries, keyboards, logic boards by micro-soldering, and data recovery.
How long does delivery take?
Your order ships the same day if it is confirmed before 3:30 pm, then arrives within 1 to 5 business days in France.
- Dispatch: same day for any order confirmed before 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday except public holidays.
- In France: 1 business day with Chronopost, 2 with Colissimo, 3 to 5 to a pickup point.
- International: 46 countries; exact shipping costs are shown in your cart.
What is the warranty, and how do I return a part?
Parts come with a 2-year warranty, and private customers can change their mind within 14 days.
- Warranty: 2 years on parts and devices, 6 months on workshop repairs.
- Right to cancel: 14 days after delivery for private customers.
- Returns: requested online, with or without a customer account.
