Payment methods and security
On Place du Mac, you pay for your order with the payment method of your choice. Online payments are processed directly by our payment providers, PayPal and Mollie: we never see your card number.
Accepted payment methods
- Credit or debit card: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
- PayPal: with your PayPal account; depending on your country, PayPal may also offer to let you pay later or in instalments, subject to its approval.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay: on compatible devices and browsers.
- Klarna: pay now, later or in instalments, depending on the options Klarna offers in your country and subject to its approval.
- Local payment methods: depending on your country, iDEAL | Wero (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), Przelewy24 and BLIK (Poland), EPS (Austria) or MyBank (Italy) may also be offered.
- Bank transfer: in euros. Our bank details are shown at the end of your order and sent to you by e-mail; your order is prepared as soon as the transfer is received.
The payment methods offered when you order depend in particular on your country and the currency selected.
Credit is a commitment and must be repaid. Check that you can afford the repayments before committing.
Your payment data is protected
- Encrypted connection: the whole site is served over HTTPS (padlock in your browser's address bar).
- 3-D Secure: when you pay by card, your bank may ask you to confirm the purchase (banking app, code sent by text message…). This strong authentication protects your card against fraudulent use.
- We never store your card number or security code: your card number and security code are entered in PayPal's secure fields or on Mollie's payment page. They never pass through our servers and Place du Mac never stores them.
Your invoice
As soon as your payment is accepted, you receive your invoice as a PDF by e-mail. If you have created a customer account, it also remains available there, under Order history.
