Set of 3 CD3217B13 USB-C chips for MacBook Air 15" (A2941, M2, 2023) — a set of 3 new CD3217B13 chips, the Texas Instruments USB-C / Power Delivery controller, to be soldered onto the MacBook Air 15" A2941 (M2) logic board. The kit contains all 3 CD3217B13 chips of this logic board.
Common symptoms: Mac not charging, USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 port not working, Mac won’t turn on, USB-C ammeter stuck at 5 V, chip overheating or shorted.
Fitted by soldering (hot-air station): this part is intended for equipped repair technicians. The 3 chips are numbered 1 to 3: each number matches a specific position on the logic board. Fit each chip in its own position, without swapping them.
