Overview
Display test flex cable for MacBook Pro 14"/16" (A2442/A2779/A2918/A2992/A2485/A2780/A2991, 2021-2023) — test flex cable (extension) that connects the display to the logic board outside the chassis. The screen powers on and can be checked without being mounted, then unplugs in seconds.
Use: test a new or used screen before fitting it, find out whether a missing picture, lines or spots come from the screen or the logic board, check the display after a logic board repair.
Diagnostic tool for the workshop: the cable is for testing only and does not replace the display's original flex cable. Connect and disconnect it with the Mac switched off and the battery disconnected.
