Set of 4 CD3217B12 USB-C chips for MacBook Pro 16" Retina Touch Bar (A2141, 2019) — a set of 4 new CD3217B12 chips, the Texas Instruments USB-C / Power Delivery controller, to be soldered onto the MacBook Pro 16" A2141 logic board. The kit contains all 4 CD3217B12 chips of this logic board.
Common symptoms: Mac not charging, USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 port not working, Mac won’t turn on, USB-C ammeter stuck at 5 V, chip overheating or shorted.
Chips supplied reballed (solder balls already applied), ready to solder. Fitted by soldering (hot-air station): this part is intended for equipped repair technicians. The kit covers the 4 positions on the logic board: UB300, UB400, U3100 and U3200.
