Overview

Screen angle sensor for MacBook Pro 16" Retina Touch Bar (A2141, 2019) — the screen angle sensor (LAS, Lid Angle Sensor). Located at the hinge, it measures how far the screen is open: it is what tells the Mac when to go to sleep and when to wake up.

Common symptoms: the Mac no longer goes to sleep when you close the screen, or does not wake up when you open it.
