Tip: make sure the label under your laptop shows a 65W rating and that the charging port is about 7.4 mm. This adapter is not intended for models requiring 90W or more (mobile workstations 8510w, 8710w, 8730w...).
Not compatible with HP laptops using the small 4.5 mm blue tip: e.g. Pavilion 14-N, 15-N and Envy TouchSmart 15-j (2013), which use a different connector.
