The Kuycon P27Z is a 27-inch monitor at native 5K resolution (5120 × 2880 pixels, 218 PPI) with a dual refresh mode. In 5K it reaches up to 180 Hz for creative work; one switch takes it to QHD 2560 × 1440 at 330 Hz for competitive gaming. 600 nits sustained brightness, 1500:1 contrast, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and 10-bit colour calibrated at the factory.
At Place du Mac, the Kuycon adjustable stand is included in the price. No box to tick, no surcharge: you receive the monitor and its ergonomic stand, ready to set up.

One switch, two monitors
This is what sets the P27Z apart: one panel covering two uses that normally call for two different monitors.
Creator mode: 5K up to 180 Hz
5120 × 2880 at native resolution, 218 pixels per inch. macOS Retina density, with fluid motion when scrolling and playing video.
Esports mode: QHD 330 Hz
2560 × 1440 at 330 Hz, exactly half of 5K on each axis: the scaling lands on whole pixels, with no blur. 1 ms GtG response time and adaptive sync.
You switch modes from the on-screen menu or with a keyboard shortcut. Both 330 Hz and 5K at 180 Hz require a DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 output.
Every input you need, no adapters
A single USB-C cable carries the 5K image, USB data and up to 100 W of Power Delivery charging: your MacBook recharges from the monitor. The port is compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 5 and USB4.

At Kuycon the stand is a paid option. Here it is included: the anodised aluminium stand turns the P27Z into an ergonomic workstation, adjustable for height, tilt and swivel, and it pivots into portrait mode.

600 nits sustained, 1500:1 contrast, HDR 600
Most desktop monitors manage around 300 nits. Many professional displays exceed that briefly, then fall back as soon as a bright scene stays on screen. The P27Z sustains 600 nits full screen without faltering, with 1500:1 contrast that keeps depth in the shadows. VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified, with HDR10 support.
A billion colours, individually calibrated
Every P27Z is individually calibrated at the factory, so what you see matches what your software produces. 10-bit colour (1.07 billion shades), 99% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage, gradients free of banding and of drift across the panel. Photography, video grading and brand work rendered exactly as intended.
Brightness controlled from the keyboard
The DDC/CI protocol lets your system drive the monitor's brightness directly. On Mac, the F1 and F2 keys work natively. On Windows, use TwinkleTray or MonitorControl. On Linux, ddcutil.
Compatibility
Mac
Any Mac with USB‑C or Thunderbolt 3 and later. Apple Silicon M4 and M5 Macs drive 5K up to 165 Hz over a single Thunderbolt cable. Apple Silicon M1 to M3 and Intel Macs from Tiger Lake onwards display 5K at 60 Hz. In every case the monitor recharges the MacBook with 100 W of Power Delivery.
Windows and Linux
On Windows: DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 for 5K at 180 Hz (currently the NVIDIA RTX 50 series), HDMI 2.1 or USB‑C / Thunderbolt. RTX 40, 30 and 20 cards and AMD RDNA 2 to 4 display 5K at 165 Hz, and all of them can switch to QHD 330 Hz. On Linux the P27Z works out of the box under Wayland and X11, with brightness via ddcutil and no vendor driver.
Games consoles
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S over HDMI 2.1, up to 4K at 120 Hz in HDR.
